A female knight who was shot in the leg and left with a bloodied leg and a broken arm in a shooting in West Hollywood on Sunday will get her job at a high-tech restaurant after an investigation into the incident was completed.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m.
Sunday on a stretch of sidewalk just west of the intersection of West Hollywood Boulevard and Interstate 5 in the Westwood section of the city, police said.
The victim, a woman in her 50s, was hit by a vehicle after allegedly attempting to cross the street, police Chief Tonya Williams said.
Williams said she was taken to a hospital and was expected to recover.
Her identity was not released.
In a statement, West Hollywood police said they were not able to release a suspect description or the name of the person who fired the shots, but did say they are investigating the shooting.
Williams described the victim as a high school senior who was visiting the area.
West Hollywood police are investigating whether the shooting was justified or not.
